Trip to Phoenix

We went to Phoenix last weekend to visit Blake, Hallie, and Chase. We were also able to spend some time with Jason, Brooke, Parker and Hunter. We love and miss our Phoenix family. We had a packed day of fun on Saturday, and were able to visit our old ward on Sunday. We moved before they even had a chance to see Jack, so it was a nice visit.
The drive between home and Phoenix is about 6 hours. Here's our little champion traveler. He slept more than half way in each direction. He doesn't like being alone in the back seat, so Mom usually ends up in the back with him.
Chase started playing soccer this year. He's having a fun time learing how to play.

Chase loves his soccer uniform so much, he has a hard time taking it off. He's pretty proud that he's becoming such a big boy!
From the soccer game, we headed to the park where we had races, and kicking contests, and just plain a lot of fun. Any of you who have known Bryan for a long time would likely have fainted at his running abilities now. He no longer sits on any sidelines. He was out playing soccer with the kids, and racing Blake and Hallie all the way across the park. Daddy won this time, but I doubt that those two will let it happen again. He's so proud of all his kids and we thought this was a great picture of all of them together. The older kids were so happy to spend time with their new brother. Blake clearly loves him like crazy and already can't wait to see him again. Hallie is just like a little mom who wants to do everything - changing, feeding, holding, etc. Chase was just in awe of Jack. Chase loved holding Jack's hand.
From the park, we headed to the Blake's Pinewood Derby. Here are the girls hanging out on the sideline.

Blake had an excellent car that was designed to look exactly like a hot dog - complete with mustard and ketchup.

Here's Jack with cousin Hunter. They are only a week apart. From the picture you can't tell much of the size difference. We estimate that Jack still has about 3 pounds on Hunter. Sounds about right since Jack had that much on him at birth. Watch out for these two....they're going to be trouble together someday!

Sounds like so much fun. Sammy needs to gain a few pounds before we get all 3 together in the Bahamas! Love the pictures.

I am so glad that you found me. What a handsome little guy. When was he born? HE was blessed that same day that Eva was blessed! It will be fun to keep in touch through blogging- it is so sun.
