Our Hippity Hoppity Easter

We had a very fun Easter weekend! We enjoyed lots of Easter Egg hunts, family time, Easter Candy, and time reflecting on why we celebrate Easter - the resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ.
We started out on a soggy Saturday morning at the city Easter Egg Hunt. Jack was fascinated with the Easter Bunny, and could not wait to get on to the baseball fields and gather all the eggs he could see.
He really did like the bunny ears, contrary to the sour look on his face. He was just sad that he had to wait for the festivities to begin. Bryan raced another dad for one of the big Easter finds. That picture would have been priceless, but it's forever engrained in my brain. My honey....taking a dive for an Easter racoon.

We spent Saturday afternoon with all of my family. The kiddos had a wonderful time playing together. They're all getting so big! Callie, McKoy, Kade, Alexa, Jack, and Luke

Grandpa and Grandma are pretty proud of their rowdy little bunch.

Grandpa and Jack - Best Buddies!

The Easter Bunny found his way to our house on Sunday morning. Jack was very excited to see a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse movie, and some new stuffed animals. We think he was most excited about all the Easter Eggs.

The bunny left eggs all over the floor. Each one had a single jelly bean - just the way Jack likes them. Jack likes to shake the eggs, and open them one by one. If they don't shake, he throws them away.

Jack loves his new Blue Bunny. He loves anything soft that he can rub his face on.
