Cove Fort Days

Jack and I had a fun time with Grandpa, Grandma, Alexa and McKoy as we travelled a couple of hours north to go to Cove Fort Days. It was a nice break from the summer heat, and we had a good time seeing the reinactment of lots of pioneer life. They had wagon rides, pioneer games, pioneer crafts, lots of displays, tours, and an overall really fun time!

If ever there was a little boy who adored his Grandpa, this is him. Jack just can't get enough time with his Grandpa. When Grandpa went back to work this fall, it took days to for Jack to adjust to losing that extra attention. Grandpa entertains Jack almost daily by taking him on a 4-wheeler ride to a farm where they see all the farm animals, feed as many as they can, and sing all the way back and forth.
