My 20th reunion for Hurricane High School class of 1989 was held over Labor Day, which also coincides with Peach Days. It's a very popular time for people to come back to visit, and you can typically run into lots of people you know. There is a HUGE parade, and tons of fun!

The H on the hill typically has the year of the next graduating class on the hill beside it. Since we were freshmen in high school, we were sneaky little ones, and loved to change it to 89 no matter what the year was, so we had to do it one more time to mark 20 years. It looked lovely.

Here's a pic with the people who were able to make it back to the reunion. I think about half made it. We had a wonderful catered dinner for just our class and spouses.

This is our peachy float for the parade. What a fun time to show such class and school spirit. We never lacked at either, so it was fun to remember.

This is us building the float and having a BBQ the night before the parade. It was a GREAT idea to have an activity for just members of our class. It let us catch up without worrying about kids or spouses. After all the building, we sat around and told a few too many stories. What a great class!

We were supposed to dress up in 80's garb. Really, it's impossible to get my hair that big anymore! I am still shocked an amazed at how lucky we were to grow up in Hurricane, and go to school with the greatest class in the world. We had our share of losses and tragedies, but through it all, we just got stronger and closer. We're still funky, we're still fine, we're the class of '89!!! Can't wait for the 25!
