Halloween in Orlando 2009

Well, the time has come for a major catch up. I haven't really posted any of our fun and random pics for a long while. We'll start back at Halloween and move forward. We had a WONDERFUL time visiting with all of the Parker's in Florida for Halloween. The weather here had just started to turn nasty, and we arrived in Orlando to a balmy 85 or so. It was almost too hot. In fact, we had a cute Tigger costume lined up for Jackson, and it was just too plain hot to wear.

We ended up searching through Uncle Brent's old costumes in the attic and settled on Captain Hook. Apparently the hook was better to wear on one's face than one's hand.

Bryan got into the spirit as well. He also rummaged through the attic and found lots of his old Halloween costumes. He had a blast scaring little kids at the park.

We were able to squeeze in two Disney Parks in one day. We hit Hollywood Studios with the whole Parker fam in the morning, and ventured over to Epcot in the afternoon. In our married life, that is one only one we hadn't visited yet. Jack was such a trooper. It was at Disney that we figured out the little guy could count. He would count stairs every time we went up them. Who knew?!

Jack loves sharks, but is also petrified of them. He wasn't so willing to climb into the shark's mouth, but now he loves seeing the picture.

As we were packing to leave for Florida, we got word that Bryan's grandma, Sophie Parker, had passed away. It was a blessing in many ways, as she was very ready to go, and it meant that we would all be able to be there for her funeral. This picture was from last Christmas with most of her family around her. She was a very sweet Southern lady, and loved very much!

That trip looked like so much fun. I am with Jack that picture of him in the shark's mouth is priceless.
